PURPOSE:To effectively remove a toner by mechanical and electrostatic operations, by preparing an elastic blade by use of polyurethane elastomer to which a conductive fiber extending from the root of an elastic blade to its tip is embedded. CONSTITUTION:An elastic blade 3 is constituted of polyurethane elastomer to which a conductive fiber 7 extending from the root 6 to the tip 4 is embedded. This conductive fiber 7 is exposed on a slide-contact part with the surface of a photosensitive drum of the tip 4 of the blade, or in its vicinity, and on the other hand, the other end is electrically connected to a holding tool 5 by a conductive putty 9 at the root 6 of the blade, and the slide-contact part with the surface of the photosensitive drum 1 of the tip 4 of the blade is kept to ground potential. The tip 4 of the blade slide-contacts with the surface of the photosensitive body, charge and charge of toner particles are grounded through the exposure end part of the conductive fiber 7, and destaticization is executed effectively and exactly. |
