PURPOSE:To remove influence of noises, by integrating knocking signals in prescribed regions of the crank angle during the explosion stroke and the compression stroke, and detecting the intensity of knocking from the difference of two values obtained by the integration. CONSTITUTION:Output signals of a knocking sensor 3 are furnished to a knocking vibration detecting unit 8 to leave only the frequency components of knocking vibration. An integration circuit 18 integrates the peak values of the knocking signals in the region of the crank angle covering 30 deg. from the top dead point. Further, a latch circuit 19 latches the output of the integration circuit 18 in synchronism with the 120 deg. crank angle signal produced from a sensor 13b for detecting the crank angle of 120 deg.. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to remove influence of noises. |
