PURPOSE:To ensure the correct processing of conversion although an operator has variations of putting declensional KANA endings, by designating a part of declensional KANA ending in case the part to be converted is equal to a declinable word to define a subject of conversion including the designated part of declensional KANA ending. CONSTITUTION:This converting system comprises a keyboard device 1, an input character buffer register 2, a control circuit 3, an output ediging device 4, a display 5, a printer 6, a connection matrix table 7, a KANA-KATAKANA (square form of Japanese syllabary) conversion table 8 and an output sentence register 9. An independent word dictionary 10 stores the independent words belonging to nouns, nouns of ''SA'' conjugation, verbs, adjectives, adjective verbs, participial adjectives, adverbs, interjections, etc. A conjugation table 11 of declinable words stores the conjugational ending of words for each dorting on the basis of conjugation of verbs, adjectives and adjective verbs, respectively. |
