PURPOSE:To permit the recording of plural colors according to the magnitude of applied recording voltage by confining the second pigment in micro capsules formed of a synthetic resin mixed with the first pigment for the chromogenic layer of a discharge recording sheet. CONSTITUTION:On one side of a supporting base material 1 (e.g., paper, synthetic resin thin plate,etc.), micro capsules (m) formed by covering carbon black 2, for example, with a heat-meltable colored thin film 3 are arranged and fixed to form a coloring layer 4, and on the layer 4, a metal (aluminum, etc.) -deposited conductive layer 5 is formed. The heat-meltable colored thin layer 3 is formed of a mixture of a red pigment and a heat-meltable synthetic glue, for example. When applying a voltage between recording heads 9A and 9B in such a discharge recording sheet A thus obtained, the deposited layer 5 alone is broken at low voltage and the red color of the colored thin film 3 is exposed, but at high voltage, both the deposited layer 5 and the capsules (m) are broken and the back color of the carbon black is exposed. |
