PURPOSE:To ensure an effect equal to an automatic answering telephone set, by always monitoring the terminal numbers of a calling and called subscribers respectively and securing a smooth shift to an audio mail system in case the calling subscriber confirms the absence of the called subscriber. CONSTITUTION:Telephone terminals 1, 2 and 3 have funcrions to call directly the called subscriber in real time and additional functions to send an instruction to an audio mail server 10 to receive the audio mail service. While the server 10 stores the numbers of telephone terminals and the terminal number of the called subscriber when the telephone terminal intends to have a call in real time. Then the server 10 receives an instruction from a speech sending terminal when the called subscriber speaks and is absent and indicates the cut-off to the terminal of the called subscriber. At the same time, the call shifts to an audio mail service mode. |
