PURPOSE:To obtain the titled bait preservable for a long period, by absorbing sufficiently natural honey having antiseptic effect in Eristalis cerealis Fabricius, immersing it in an alcohol solution so that attached wax is washed away, immersing it in honey, etc. having antiseptic effect. CONSTITUTION:Natural honey having antiseptic effect is sufficiently absorbed in Eristalis cerealis Fabricius until its stomach is filled with the honey. The Eristalis cerealis Fabricius is immersed in an alcohol solution, wax attached to the surface of the body is dissolved and washed away, so that an antiseptic solution is liable to be penetrated into it, and it is sterilized. The Eristalis cerealis Fabricius having finished this treatment is put in a container.
