The invention relates to a crane of the kind which has a stand 1 and a jib 11 rotating relative to the stand, via which runs a rope 3 one end of which is intended to be fastened to the object to be handled, and to the other end of which is applied a traction force via a drum 26. The rope's crossing between a control unit 15, 17 on the stand and the jib is effected so that the rope, when pulled therein exerts a force on the jib which tends to rotate the latter towards a base position. This rotating effect on the jib can be utilised to swing a load into a position above a vehicle etc. <IMAGE> |
