PURPOSE:To allow the operator at receiver side to discriminate abnormality of the number of sheets of the reception paper easily, by transmitting data representing what number of original in the originals during transmission at present to a facsimile receiver. CONSTITUTION:Originals P are transmitted one by one, a detection signal S2 detecting the said original P is applied to a counter 7 from a detector 2 and the content of count of the said counter 7 is advanced. When the transmission of all the originals P is finished, whether or not the logical level of a signal S10 applied to an input terminal I4 is discriminated by a control circuit 6. When the signal S10 is not ''H'', shows that the total number of the actual transmission originals P is not coincident with the total number of the transmission originals P supplied from an automatic paper feeder PL, so that an alarm signal S02 at an output terminal O3 is outputted to an alarm display 20 to display the abnormality. |
