PURPOSE:To enhance the responsiveness to the required air quantity of an engine wherein a throttle valve is controlled by a step motor according to the load on an acceleration pedal, engine rpm. etc. by disposing a solenoid valve in a throttle bypass passage. CONSTITUTION:A throttle valve 2 which is driven by a step motor 3 via a belt 4 is disposed in a suction pipe 1 of an internal-combustion engine. The step motor 3 is controlled by an electronic control circuit 10 to which detected values of a fuel command potentiometer 9 responding to the load on an acceleration pedal 8, engine rpm. temperature of cooling water etc. are input, while a suction air quantity is regulated according to the quantity of fuel which is injected from a fuel injection valve 7. The suction pipe 1 has a passage 11 which is used for bypassing a throttle 6. A solenoid valve 12 which is placed in this passage is also controlled by the electronic control circuit 10, hence improving the responsiveness to the required quantity of air. |
