A folding table with a tabletop 2, supported by a floor rack 1, and to which two leaves 3, 4 are connected in an upwards and downwards foldable manner by means of hinges 9, 10, is such constructed that the leaves 3, 4 are suspended in respective slides 11, 14 by means of the hinges 9, 10, said slides being slidably displaceable back and forth in sliding rails 13 situated at the underside of the tabletop 2. Through this arrangement, the leaves 3, 4 are displaceable from a downwards folded storing position below the tabletop 2 to the two opposite edges of the tabletop, where the respective leaf 3, 4 may be folded upwards into a position of use. In order to fix a respective leaf 3, 4 in said position of use, each leaf is provided with a supporting leg 5 which is swingably and longitudinally displaceably connected to the leaf by means of a combined hinge and slide element 24. <IMAGE> |
