<p>PURPOSE:To remarkably miniaturize the entire body by a method wherein a light emitting diode and a light receiving element sit on lead frames of the same potential. CONSTITUTION:Three lead frames 1-3 are taken out in the same direction, and the light emitting diode 5 and the light receiving element 6 are provided in parallel on the frame 1. Simultaneously, lead wires are bonded and joined between other lead frames respectively, and then the diode 5 and the element 6 are wrapped collectively with a phototransmitting material 9. The outside of the material 9 and the other end parts of the three lead wires are packaged with a reflective material 10. Thereby, the light of the diode 5 passes through the material 9 and is reflected on the outer peripheral surface thereof, then securely received on the element 6 side, and accordingly the photo energy is transmitted. Since these are wrapped with the same material 9, used materials are in a small amount, and therefore, the entire body can be miniaturized.</p> |
