PURPOSE:To prevent double or no injection of fuel which is to be performed for each cylinder immediately after starting of an engine by making one fuel injection of a certain quantity for each cylinder at the same time immediately after an ignition switch of the engine is started and by restricting fuel from being injected for any one of the cylinders immediately after the starting until each cylinder completes one intake stroke. CONSTITUTION:Fuel is injected once in all cylinders at the same time by an initial asynchronous pulse CP generated immediately after an ignition switch is turned on, with the pulse width corresponding to the quantity of fuel determined by a computing circuit 520. Since the output of a decoder 522 is kept ''0'' after turning-on of the ignition switch until each cylinder completes one intake stroke, fuel injection is prohibited. In injection of fuel in each cylinder immediately after starting of an engine, double or no injection of fuel may be thereby prevented. |
