<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a valve opening apparatus incorporated in a control member, which is free of malfunctioning, by employing an arrangement in which an exhaust- pipe nozzle can be closed, irrespective of positioning errors of a slide member in the control member, by simply inserting a hand piece into a hand-piece holder. CONSTITUTION:Hand-piece holder 1 is formed with a hand-piece inserting hole 1a shaped in a funnel form. When control member 4 is in its advanced position, spring 10 is compressed, and when member 4 is retracted, it is urged toward its original position by the force of spring 10. In a bore 11 of control member 4, there is fitted a slide member 12 adapted for opening and closing nozzle 7, in the manner that it is freely slidable in axial direction. Here, arrangement is such that clearance l1 between the top of nozzle 7 and the top end face of resilient member 14 is kept smaller than the distance of recession at the top of conical portion 4b of member 4. Further, another spring 17 is disposed between bottom 11a of bore 11 formed in member 4 and end face 14a of resilient member 14.</p> |
