PURPOSE:To measure easily humidity of a gas at any time, by heating a body to be heated is heated at a higher temperature than surrounding gas and measuring the temperature difference of the body between two optional points (time) under the natural cooling. CONSTITUTION:A body to be heated is heated at a higher temperature KM than a gas temperature KH in the gas to be measured its humidity. Next, its heating is stopped and the body is cooled naturally by the gas. And, in a period of natural cooling, the first point of time t1 at the time when the temperature of the body is reached the first intended temperature K1 and the second point of time t2 at the time when the temperature of the body is reached another second intended temperature lower than the first temperature K1 (this temperature may be equal to the temperature KH and it is regarded as K2) as shown by the figure, are measured. Then, a time T12 between the points of time t1 and t2 is found. The humidity of the gas is measured by the time T12 because this time T12 corresponds to the humidity of the gas. |
