PURPOSE:To obtain an internal-combustion engine of simple construction capable of high speed running, by disposing, in a cylinder, two screw shafts meshed together so that the spaces of intake, compression, explosion and exhaustion are defined therebetween, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A screw shaft 2, 2' are meshed together with a clearance A therebetween so that intake cycle sections 3a, 3'a, compression and explosion cycle sections 3b, 3'b and expansion and exhaust cycle sections 3c, 3'c are defined therebetween. Further, an intake port, an exhaust port and an ignition plug, which are not shown, are provided, respectively in an intake section 1a, an expansion section 1c and an explosion section. |
