The bracing device comprises at least one orifice (2) for guiding the prestress wire at the rear of the place where the wire is braced. The orifice (2) has a cross-section which increases from the bracing point to the front surface of the device, in order to guide the wire along a regular curve. Prestress wires (4) in the bracing block can thus be given a regular curve and the wire can be guided in various directions when it leaves the block, without the need to incline the block along the axis of the wires. The arrangement also enables wires to be inclined in a number of directions on leaving a single block without the block having to be formed ith inclined apertures.
