The network of linear flexible elements is immersed and preassembled according to the skeleton of the trellis to be obtained. To make a self load bearing structure, the trellis mesh outline is chosen so that, after a mineralised coating, the tension force in the elements is less than their elastic limit. Plastics straps (1) are fixed to the underwater bed (2) at regular intervals by anchors (3) the anchorage being aided by ties (4) and negative buoyancy threads (5). |
