Magnetic cylinder motor - uses permanent magnets to perform work without energy input

The machine has a central rotating cylinder (4) surrounded by smaller rotating cylinders (5). The axes of all cylinders are parallel. Each cylinder consists of segmental bar magnets embedded radially into a suitable binder to give an outer surface with alternately magnetic poles in passing around its periphery. Mutual repulsion and at reaction between the magnets in the central cylinder and in the smaller cylinders causes all the cylinders to rotate without external energy being supplied. Screens may be interposed between the central cylinder and the outer cylinders to modify the turning moment.
