PURPOSE:To enable stable centering by inserting an endless metallic belt to annular projections formed in circumferential direction on the outer peripheral face of a cylindrical holder having larger coefficient of thermal expansion than the belt, and making the radial section of the endless metallic belt a drumlike curved face. CONSTITUTION:A thin cylindrical endless metallic belt 16 having flat radial section is inserted in an annular curved projections 19 formed in circumferential direction of outer peripheral face of a cylindrical holder 17 having larger coefficient of thermal expansion than that of the endless metallic belt 16. Then, the holder 17 is heated and the endless metallic belt 16 is plastic deformed, and its radial section is formed to a drumlike curved face. |
