A plurality of seat supports with passenger seats are mounted pivotably on the circumferential edge of the rotating central structure of a carousel in such a way that they are set radially outwards during operation as a result of centrifugal force, but can be deflected out of this dynamic relative position. Provided for this deflection is a disturbance element which is arranged in a stationary manner and projects into the rotary path of the seat supports.
