PURPOSE:To provide a heat sensitive recrding material prevented from background fog due to liquid fogging and enhanced in preservability, constituted by containing a specific phenol compound in a layer adjacent to a heat sensitive color forming layer containing a leuco dye and a developer. CONSTITUTION:Either one of compounds shown by formulaeI-III is contained in either one of the protective layer and the primer layer of a heat sensitive color forming layer containing a leuco dye and a developer (e.g., bisphenol A). EFFECT:The color forming stability of a multicolor heat sensitive color forming layer ca be enhanced while effect is especially recognized in red color formation being thaught as easily affected by temperature, humidity and light so far and color separability is also enhanced. |
