PURPOSE:To discharge anion exchange resin uniformly and efficiently by forming a titled conduit of a tubular body, providing communicating ports which communicate the inside and outside thereof and having the outside wall edges without facing upward to the wall of said tubular body, and increasing the opening area of the communicating ports per unit length in the longitudinal direction of the discharge conduit gradually as said parts go farther from the outlet. CONSTITUTION:A discharge conduit is formed of a tubular body 20 which is a circular pipe, and communicating ports 21 are provided on both sides on the lateral surfaces thereof. The opening areas thereof are so distributed that the opening area per unit length along the longitudinal direction of a discharge conduit 10 increases gradually as the ports go farther from an outlet 17. Thus, if the conduit 10 is provided near the boundary face between the anion exchange resins and cation exchange resins which are separated to two layers in a tank and the anion exchange resins are discharged, the upper part thereof acts as a cover to prevent the inflow of the cation exchange resins, and since the opening areas of the ports 21 increase gradually as the ports go farther from the outlet 17, the resins are discharged uniformly and efficiently. |
