A microwave assembly, in which an upper and a lower housing part (2, 1) are produced from aluminium extrusion pressed profiles. These housing parts are placed one on top of the other and thus form a waveguide. If necessary, a broader pressed profile with webs is selected in order thus to form chambers into which the electronic printed-circuit boards are inserted. These chambers are electrically sealed by screwing on covers. Grooves for the attachment of the microwave assembly, for the electronic printed-circuit boards and for the covers can be provided in the pressed profile itself. The strip conductors which are inserted in the waveguide are connected to the individual chambers of the microwave assembly via milled grooves or drilled holes. <IMAGE>
