PURPOSE:To provide a welding material which is highly wear resistance and erosion resistance and has good fluidity by contg. respectively prescribed ratios of Cr, Nb, Mo and B, as essential components and consisting of the balance substantially Ni. CONSTITUTION:A welding material which contains, by weight, 10-45% Cr, 3- 15% Nb, <=20% Mo, and 0.01-2.0% B as essential components, and consisting of the balance substantially Ni. Part of the above-described component Nb may be substd. with Ta. Part of the Ni may be substd. with Fe and part of the Mo with W. This welding material has the above-described characteristics, and can be made into the welding material having excellent build-up weldability by casting the same into desired shapes such as welding rods, plates, etc. Blowholes and slag inclusion are minimized in weld zones and the sound weld zones are provided. |
