PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. useful particularly for heat-resistant adhesives, containing a prepolymer of a polyfunctional cyanate ester and an amine, a prepolymer of a polyfunctional maleimide and an amine, and polybenzimidazole as essential ingredients. CONSTITUTION:The titled curable resin compsn. contains a polyfunctional cyanate ester having at least two cyanato groups per molecule, a cyanate ester prepolymer or a prepolymer of a cyanate ester and an amine (A); or component A, a polyfunctional maleimide having at least two maleimido groups per molecule, a maleimide prepolymer or a prepolymer of a maleimide and an amine (B), and polybenzimidazole (C) as essential ingredients. The compsn. itself is reticulated by heating to form a heat-resistant resin. Usually, a catalyst is incorporated therein to accelerate crosslinking reticulation. |
