On a prefabricated facade element having a profile extending as a rain barrier horizontally on the upper side, despite the good barrier action a small structural shape of the profile and a corresponding notching on the prefabricated facade element situated above are desired. For this purpose, a plastic profile having the following integral shape is provided: a first strip has a lower portion embedded in the prefabricated facade element. An upper portion of the first strip projects upwards out of the prefabricated facade element. At the transition point between the lower portion and the upper portion, a second strip, which forms an upper boundary of the prefabricated facade element, is moulded on. At least one obliquely moulded-on third strip which forms the moisture barrier is provided at the top on the first strip. <IMAGE>
