PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of an inverter by feeding back the energy stored in a snubber circuit via the same DC current transformer to DC power source. CONSTITUTION:In case that GTO thyristors 4c, 4d are turned ON when a current is flowed from a load 7 through a flywheel diode 5, a current is flowed from a power source through a diode 18, a resistor 19 and a snubber resistor 10a to a snubber condenser 9a, thereby charging the condenser 9a. Accordingly, the voltage of the resistor 19 divided by resistors 19, 10a is applied to the primary side of a feedback current transformer 16. Accordingly, excess voltage is not induced at the secondary side of the transformer 16. In this manner, the application of excess voltage in blocking direction of the diode 17 can be effectively prevented. |
