The invention relates to a lifter metering system for printing machines, which system can be used in inking or damping units in order to transport the ink or the damping fluid from the ductor to the distributing cylinder. The object of providing a lifter metering system, with which the output-limiting, dynamic interfering influences as a result of the impacts occurring especially during the oscillation of the lifter roller onto the distributing cylinder or ductor as a result of different circumferential speeds and their negative influences (vibrations) on exact metering, are reduced, is achieved in that the lifter roller is arranged so as to be displaceable on bearing surfaces arranged obliquely on the frame surfaces by means of an output drive lever which virtually encloses a right angle with the bearing surface. <IMAGE>
