PURPOSE:To provide a heat sensitive recording element improved in preservation stability whithout generating stickiness and scum adhesion onto a heat sensitive head, constituted by containing 1,1,3-tris(2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-t-butylphenyl)butane in a recording layer. CONSTITUTION:In a heat sensitive recording element containing a colorless- light colored color forming substance (e.g., a fluorane type leuco compound) and a phenolic compound (e.g., benyl P-hydroxybenzoate), 1,1,3-tris (2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-t-butylphenyl) butane shown by formula is contained in the recording layer thereof pref., in an amount of 1-30wt%. |
