PURPOSE:To provide the surface of a product like a steel pipe, etc. with the pretty covering which is suitable as a convenient corrosion-proof material and is free from discoloration, carbonization, by applying the compound of a silicone grease, a silicone oil, etc. beforehand on the outer surface of a heat recoverable molded product, then heat shrinking it. CONSTITUTION:After a heat recoverable molded product being provided on the object to be covered, the compound of (A) a silicone grease, (B) a silicone oil and in some cases (C) an inorganic filler (e.g., a clay) is applied on the outer surface of said molded product to be heated preferably in 5mum or more thickness, then the desired heat recoverable molded product is obtained by heat shrinking. USE:For a convenient insulation covering material to be applied to an electric wire and cable, etc. |
