PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of abnormal wear due to lack of lubricating oil at sliding surfaces and to thereby prolong the service life of a rotary compressor, by forming oil feed ports for feeding lubricating oil from an oil supply hole formed in a turning shaft to sliding surfaces of a compression element at end portions of bearings for respective side frames. CONSTITUTION:Oil feed ports 18, 19 for feeding lubricating oil from an oil supply hole 17 formed in a turning shaft 6 to sliding portions of a compression element 5 are formed at end portions 10a, 11a of bearings 10, 11 for journaling respective side frames 12, 13, so that lack of lubricating oil at the sliding surfaces at the end portions 10a, 11a of the bearings 10, 11 that has been caused in conventional arrangements can be avoided. Further, lubricating oil 2 supplied to the end portions 10a, 11a of the bearings 10, 11 is stored in hollow spaces 16 kept at an intermediate pressure via helical grooves 14, 15 and then drawn to the low-pressure side of a compression chamber in a cylinder 7 while lubricating the end faces of rollers 9. Therefore, lubricating oil 2 can be supplied smoothly by the function of pressure difference at various portions in a compressor, so that the lubricating performance can be improved. |
