PURPOSE:To make a superior mixing of fuel with air and provide a complete combustion by a method wherein a discharging pipe connected to a combustion chamber is arranged at a right angle with respect to a transmitting direction of the flame generated in the combustion chamber so as to increases a pressure in the combustion chamber and a suction volume of air is increased. CONSTITUTION:A pulsation combustion unit is operated such that a gas from a gas supplying pipe 10 and an air from an air supplying pipe 11 are fed into the combustion chamber 6 and mixed therein via supplying ports 8..., 9..., gas flapper valve 12 and air flapper valve 13 and then they are ignited and combustioned by a spark plug. During combustion, each of the flap valves 12, 13 is closed by a pressure of combustion gas, and the combustion gas is discharged from the discharging pipe 16. In this case, the discharging pipe 16 is arranged at a right angle with respect to a flame transmitting direction generated in the combustion chamber 6. Thereby, both a flame transmitting direction and a direction of flow of combustion gas are made complicated to increase a pressure in the combustion chamber 6. |
