PURPOSE:The titled composition that comprises a thermoplastic polyester, an organic acid ester, an organic halide and antimony trioxide coated with an alkoxysilane on its surface, thus showing improved thermal stability on melt molding. CONSTITUTION:(A) To 100pts.wt. of a thermoplastic polyester, are added (B) 0-100pts.wt. of a fibrous or powder inorganic filler, (C) 0.1-30pts.wt. of an organic acid ester such as terminal blocked polycaprolactone as a plasticizer, (D) 0.1-20pts.wt., preferably 1-15pts.wt., calculated as element, or antimony trioxide treated with an alkoxy silane (0.05-5wt% based on the antimony trioxide) and (E) 0.1-30pts.wt., prefrerably 1-15pts.wt., calculated as halogen element, of an organic halide as a flame retarder. |
