PURPOSE:To enable to heat comfortably, by providing a timing device for controlling a switching element to bring the latter into a predetermined state at a predetermined time, in a KOTATSU with frame of such a type that passing of an electric current to a heating element is controlled by a temperature sensor through a switching element. CONSTITUTION:Normally, since a relay contact 9B of a relay 9 is of the normally closed type, setting a variable resistor 5 at a predetermined value results in that a capacitor 6 is charged, and a triggering element 7 breaks over to trigger the switching element 3. In this case, by variably setting the resistance of the resistor 5 at the predeterined value, the temperature of a heater 2 can be set at a predetermined temperature. When the timing device 8 is so set as to open the switching element 3 after a predetermined period of time, the relay contact 9B is closed, and when the timing device 8 is so set as to close the switching element 3 after a predetermined period of time, the relay contact 9B is closed. Accordingly, in each of the two cases, the heater 2 can be operated or stopped at the predetermined time. |
