PURPOSE:To form a tough coated film at a short time in energy saving by heating a metallic pipe at the curing temp. of thermosetting powdery resin paint and firstly coating the powdery resin paint on the inner surface thereof and then coating thermoplastic resin paint thereon. CONSTITUTION:In case of performing rough coating and surface coating on the inner surface of a pipe, the metallic pipe is heated at the curing temp. of thermosetting paint and powdery resin paint as rough coating is firstly coated on the inner surface thereof. Then top coating is performed by thermoplastic resin paint melted in the conditions of this heating temp. in such a way, time for drying the rough coating surface is not necessitated and to coating can be immediately performed and the time is shortened, and heat necessitated in curing of rough coating can be utilized as melting heat of top coating as it is and energy saving is obtained and also a tough coated film can be formed.
