PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform waterproof wall which has high precision by clamping a cylindrical member which has plural channel-shaped grooves where a rubber tube having one slit at its circumference from the outer circumferences of a soft rubber sealing material and the rubber tube with an O ring covering the outer circumference of the cylindrical member by the ring. CONSTITUTION:Optical fiber cores 2 are fitted in slit rubber tubes 6, which are further fitted in the cylindrical member with U-shaped grooves with their slits to the inside of the channel-shaped grooves; and an outer circumferential sealing material 8 is wound, the rubber tube with the O ring covers the outer circumference of the sealing material 8, and they are retained with a clamping ring from the outer circumference of the nozzle part of the rubber tube with the O ring to provide a termination part with structure which holds tightness among the optical fiber cores. When the slit rubber tubes 6 fitted around the optical fiber cores are set in the U-shaped grooves, said operation is performed after lining the U-shaped grooves with the thin sealing materials 9, 8 or winding the sealing materials 8 around the slit rubber tubes respectively, and consequently watertightness between the slit rubber tubes and U-shaped grooves is further improved. |
