摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the calorific power of a gas generated from an iron manufacturing plant with a high efficiency, by subjecting the gas generated from the iron manufacturing plant to the methanization reaction, and obtaining a reformed gas and recovering the heat of reaction at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A low caloric (mixed) gas generated from an iron manufacturing plant, e.g. coke oven gas (COG), blast furnace gas (BFG) or Linz-Donawits converter gas (LDG), is converted into a gas enriched with methane in the presence of a catalyst of Ni, W, Mo, Fe, Ru, etc. preferably at 400-600 deg.C and 10-40kg/ cm<2> pressure in a methanization reactor 2.
