PURPOSE:To effectively prevent a smoking of sight window, by arranging a cooking utensil such that a cooking status may be detected by an output of sensor adapted to detect a temperature inside a heating compartment, and the heating compartment may be ventilated in response to the detected results. CONSTITUTION:When a micro-wave heating is started by driving a magnetron 3, a heating control thereof is effected by a control section in response to an output VS1 of a temperature sensor 6 adapted to indirectly detect a temperature inside a heating compartment. Upon reading out the output VS1, the control section converts a value DELTAVS which corresponds to a designated menu or to a foodstuff to be cooked into a value VS1 for obtaining a value VS2 from a formula VS2=VS1+DELTAVS. The value VS2 is a temperature which indicates that the foodstuff is generally cooked, and also means an output of the censor 6 corresponding to a temperature at which a sight window beings to smoke. As a heating is further progressed and the output VS2 of the sensor 6 is obtained, an actuator 22a causes a guide member 22 to shift to a position Y and a magnetron cooling air begins to flow into the heating compartment 1 through ventilating port 1d, thereby preventing a smoking of a sight window. |
