PURPOSE:To estimate an angle of elevation of a target positioned at a low elevation from the direct waves, mirror reflected waves and DIFFUSE reflected waves of the target by suppressing a clutter with a pulse compressor incorporated into a low elevation target tracking apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An IF from a coherent oscillator 2 and a transmission trigger TR are inputted into an inpulse generator 18, which outputs an inpulse with the IF as the center frequency synchronizing the transmission trigger TR into a dispersed delay line 17. An expanding pulse thus generated is radiated from N antennas 12 and the radio wave reflected is received again. Outputs of the antennas are inputted into a mixer 9 via a circulator 8 to be mixed with a signal received and a signal from an oscillator 1 and after converted into IF, the output is inputted into an IF amplifier 10. The output of the IF amplifier 10 is inputted into the dispersed delay line 17, where the pulse is compressed. |
