PURPOSE:To improve mechanical strength and to enable the sure checking of a gap, by forming a relief groove for winding of a reinforcing plate to be adhered and fixed on both sides of a magnetic core in the position where the axial line direction thereof intersect roughly orthogonally with each other. CONSTITUTION:A relief groove 4a for windings is formed in the gap depth direction to one reinforcing plate 4, and a relief groove 4b is formed to the other reinforcing plate 4 in the direction intersecting roughly orthogonally with the groove 4a. the plates 4, 4 are adhered and fixed on both sides of a magnetic core 3. The plate 4 on the side having the groove 4b in the transverse direction assures the mechanical strength in the stage of polishing of the thin magnetic core and traveling of tapes. The plate 4 having the groove 4a in the gap depth direction provides the function for checking the gap depth GD. |
