In the combined drum-type washing and drying machine with circulating-air guidance, the moisture-laden air is circulated through the washing drum (2) via a condenser (12, 13) fed with cooling water from outside, a suction pressure blower (17) and a heating register (10) for heating the air dried in the condenser (12, 13). A nozzle (20), opening out above the concertina in the front bottom (5) of the tub and just below the upper edge of the loading orifice, for air guidance directed slightly downwards is designed as a wide-drawn slit nozzle or hole nozzle.
