PURPOSE:To prevent a discharged paper from being jammed, by selectively actuating aligning members arranged in the discharging position, in accordance with a detected signal indicating the size of a discharged paper. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of discharged paper aligning members 10, 11 arranged in the discharging position, or in the vicinity thereof, of a discharged paper, are selectively actuated in accordance with the size of a paper. Thereby, the discharged paper is automatically aligned at a predetermined discharging position so that the rearrangement of the aligning members on all such occasions which is troublesome may be eliminated, thereby the jamming of the discharged paper due to the misplacement of the aligning members or the improper locations thereof may be prevented. |
