PURPOSE:To transmit data signals at an arbitrary point of time, by designating a digitized sound signal as a consecutive signal, making a low-speed digital data signal composite as noise with respect to the sound signal and transmitting the signals on the same transmission line. CONSTITUTION:An input sound signal 2 to a transmitter 1 is digitally encoded at an encoding section 3, converted into a bit pattern different from that of frame information at a conversion section 5 and transmitted through a composite section 8. The input data signal 4 being sufficiently low in speed in comparison with the digital sound signal is blocked into a prescribed length or below at an input buffer 6, converted into a pattern other than the frame information at a framing section 7, the frame information is added before and after the block and given to the composite section 8. The composite section 8 stops the sound signal and transmits a framed data signal. A receiver 9 separates 8 the input signal into sound and data, inserts the sound signal just before the space from a buffer 12 to a space of the separated data signal and restores 14 the signal into the sound signal. The frame information of the data signal is eliminated 15 and converted 16 into the data signal block. |
