PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor with high photosensitivity and superior durability by adding a specified phthalazin compound as an org. photoconductor to a photosensitive layer, especially the charge transferring layer of a laminate type photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:To a photosensitive layer is added a phthalazin compound represented by the formula where each of A and A' is a (substituted) aromatic ring or a (substituted) heterocyclic ring, the substituent is lower alkyl, alkoxy, dialkylamino or the like, and each of R1-R4 is H, halogen, (substituted) alkyl or alkoxy as an org. photoconductor. Especially, a soln. contg. the compound and a binder such as polycarbonate or polystyrene is applied to a charge generating layer contg. known Se-Te, CdS, disazo pigment or the like to form a charge tansferring layer. Thus, an electrophotographic receptor or the like with high photosensitivity, superior environmental stability and durability is obtd. |
