PURPOSE:To attain the communication for a subscriber through the use of a code converter freely in the unit of calls, by providing a code conversion form determining circuit and a code conversion form changing circuit started by a code conversion designating signal to an exchange and processing the communication. CONSTITUTION:When a signal from a subscriber terminal is inputted to a terminal A1 and an input signal is decided as a code conversion form designation signal at a signal analysis circuit A, the said signal is inputted to a code conversion form determining circuit B. The circuit B extracts a code conversion form designating part in the signal, converts it into an internal signal as a new code conversion form and outputs the signal to a code conversion form changing circuit C. When the circuit C receives this signal, an old conversion form set in a code converter D is reset to set a new form. The circuit C informs the end of this processing to the circuit A, which inputs the data afterward to the converter D. The converter D resets a conversion form storage memory at each subscriber with a signal from the circuit C, converts the input from the circuit A according to the new form and outputs it to a signal transmission circuit E. |
