PURPOSE:To manufacture a titled lightweight, highly rigid and good-looking frame at high productivity, by forming structure members by cutting a long-sized light metal section extruded to a desired sectional form to required length, and then combining and sticking the structure members. CONSTITUTION:A lower cross frame 8 that connects the lower centers of the body frames FL and FR is made by cutting a light metal extruding material to specified length and cutting off unnecessary parts. The frame 8 is inserted to an insertion groove 3j between fitting parts 3o of a down frame 3, and these parts are connected in a body and fixed by welding. Then, a front cross frame 9 is similarly connected and stuck to the upper part of frames FL and FR, and further, reinforcing members 10, 11 are welded to obtain a body frame F. In this case, the frame F consists mainly of a steering head 1, main frame 2, down frame 3, center frame 4, rear frame 5, center cross frame 6, rear cross frame 7 and frames 8, 9. |
