PURPOSE:To realize conveyance of articles while maintaining certain and free control of a position, posture, speed, direction and the like of the articles to be conveyed by arranging a large number of electromagnetic coils along a conveyance route and setting each magnetic coil conductive in order and utilizing its attracting action. CONSTITUTION:When an article 7, a magnetic body, to be conveyed is thrown from the entrance of a conveyance route 1 in the direction of an arrow (a), a sensor S1 is turned on and an electromagnetic coil L1 provided along said route 1 is set conductive to attract said article 7, which is drawn into the coil L1. Since the sensor S1 is turned off at this moment, conductivity of the coil 1 is stopped, and said article 7 is pushed outside the direction of the arrow (a) the coil L1 due to its inertia. Simultaneously with this, a sensor S2 of the next step is turned on and a coil L2 is set conductive, then the conveyed article 7 is attracted by a coil L2, moving in the direction of the arrow. Thereafter, by setting coils conductive from L3 to LN in order in like manner, the conveyed article 7 is conveyed along the conveyance route 1 with its definite conveyance posture formed in line by means of magnetic force attraction. |
