PURPOSE:To produce molded products having high quality with high production efficiency, by applying plastic working to the molten metal charged into a die consisting of a movable part and a stationary part having multiaxial construction by means of movable parts and subjecting the molten metal to die cast forging. CONSTITUTION:Molten metal is charged at a high speed through a sprue 4 into a die 1 assembled with movable parts 3 which have multiaxial construction and are relatively movable in a stationary part 2 by using a plunger (not shown). While the molten metal in the die 1 is in a semi-molten state or in the state right after the solidification, said parts 3 are actuated to generate plastic flow in the material in the die so that the material is subjected to die forging by plastic working. The generation of cavities is prevented, and the products having sound internal texture and intricate shapes are produced with high production efficiency by the die cast forging combining die casting, melt forging and hot forging as mentioned above. |
