PURPOSE:To enable setting of the number of notches, the position to output a crank stop signal easily and in a short time in a press machine for slot blanking of iron core of a rotary electric machine, by providing a pulse generator that rotates synchronously with rotation of a crank shaft. CONSTITUTION:When the crank shaft 4 of a notching press is rotated by an electric motor 3, a pulse generator 22 rotates synchronouly at rotation ratio of 1:1 to the shaft 4 through bevel gears 9, 10 and spur gears 20, 23. By this process, pulses of number of divisions of the generator 22 are outputted at every rotation of the shaft, and this output is counted by the counter 24 of a controlling device 28, and the number of rotations and the angle of rotation are measured. The device 28 is provided with notch setting and stop position setting switches 26, 27. The set value of the latter and the counted value of the counter 24 are compared and calculated, and when they coincide, an command for cutting a clutch and for operating a brake 6 is given. Similarly, comparison and calculation are made for the switch 26, and in case of coincidence, the counter 24 is reset and returned to an initial condition. |
