<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption amount of limestone, by carrying out in- furnace desulfurization in a fluidized bed coal fired boiler and desulfurization due to the spraying of a desulfurizing slurry in a spray dryer in combination to prepare the desulfurizing slurry from dust in a boiler exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:Coal and limestone are respectively fed into a fluidized bed coal fired boiler 1 from lines 2, 3 to carry out in-furnace desulfurization and quick lime is separated from the exhaust gas of the boiler 1 by a multi-cyclone 5. This separated quick lime is introduced into a slurry tank 14 to prepare a slurry for desulfurizing the waste gas and this slurry is sprayed into the exhaust gas of the boiler 1 in a spray dryer 12 to carry out desulfurization thereof. That is, because dust in the exhaust gas of the boiler is effectively utilized to prepare the desulfurizing slurry, the amount of limestone fed into the boiler can be reduced to a large extent as the whole of a system.</p> |
